Yeah - my pile of equipment in my basement is growing too. I started my journey messing with OpenStack by using the RedHat OpenStack packages (RDO), but I'm not learning enough about the architecture of the various components and how to properly architect OpenStack by being insulated from the complexities by things like PackStack and so on. So I'm fixing to rebuild my OpenStack 2-node cluster in my basement by hand using the docs on openstack.org as my guide to build out a Havana-based installation on two nodes.
ReplyDeleteAlso, I can only post comments to this blog entry and this is probably not the best place for me put my experiences as I build my OpenStack. So we need another place to do this documentation thing together. Maybe use the MS SharePoint 365 thingy?
